Capital Equipment is that equipment that has a cost above a specific mark set by each individual hospital. Capital or inventorial equipment can be defined as items:
- with an acquisition cost of $5,000 or more, including but not limited to tax, freight, and installation cost;
- are not disposable or consumable;
- are stand alone;
- has a useful life of one year or more;
- qualifies as a tangible personal property,
