Kellie Carey started her healthcare career as a credentialing manager for a New York-based mental health billing company. She led an effort to revamp the company process to increase efficiency and productivity. She began her service at Newport Credentialing Solutions in 2015 as manager of operations and was promoted to director of operations before becoming Vice President of Business Process Improvement in 2019.

Kellie received a BS degree in psychology from SUNY Empire State College in New York.
