Eric Slimp joined TractManager’s MD Buyline division in 2013, left in October 2017, and rejoined the company in June 2018. During his time away, he served as Director of Purchasing for Eyecare Services Partners, where he led purchasing consolidation strategy and operations for an eyecare group of more than 90 locations.
He previously worked as an operations manager at MEMdata, LLC, where he assisted hospitals with the acquisition of new technology by managing requests for proposal and leveraging competition to negotiate pricing on capital equipment.
At TractManager, Eric applies his industry knowledge and experience to optimize hospitals’ management of purchased services. He performs contract reviews to ensure that hospital clients are obtaining industry-best pricing and contract terms. He informs the hospital purchased services’ sourcing personnel of industry trends and negotiation strategies tailored to each contract and purchased service category.
Eric graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology.
