For more than 30 years, Anne McCune has worked with the management teams of leading public and private-sector healthcare organizations, focused on payer, provider, and health system strategy as well as cost and operations transformation. At TractManager, Anne applies her organizational expertise to help clients shift strategy, improve performance, build capabilities,and strengthen behavior. As a seasoned hospital executive, consulting partner, and executive coach, Anne has focused on strategy and improving organizational health and performance. She is experienced in large-scale transformational change, value networks and network design, merger management, and organizational topics such as culture and organizational design.
Anne’s previous experience includes serving as chief operating officer for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital/Stanford Children’s Health, Children’s Hospital and Research Center Oakland (now UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland), and City of Hope National Center.
At Accenture, Anne served as a national partner in the Health and Public Services Practice,where her client work concentrated on design and management of new capabilities needed for value-based payments and clinically integrated care. As a senior vice president at Optum, a subsidiary of United Health Group, Anne led a strategy consulting practice serving clients across the healthcare value chain with projects focused on service line development, market growth,and reform.
Anne earned a B.A. in Sociology and Cultural Area Studies with a minor in Spanish from the College of Wooster, was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for study in Peru, and holds a J.D. from Loyola University School of Chicago School of Law. She is certified by the International Coaching Federation as master executive coach and currently serves as a Fellow at the Harvard Institute of Coaching, American College of Healthcare Executives, and National Association of Certified Directors.
