In her role as Vice President of CVO at Newport Credentialing Solutions, Anna Arutyunyan serves as a consultant and subject matter expert to clients and business partners, colleagues, and executive management teams regarding accreditation and regulatory requirements, operations, and best practice industry standards. She has worked with multiple healthcare organizations, including large provider networks, self-insured employer groups, managed care organizations, and health plans to develop and implement full-scope credentialing operations in compliance with NCQA, URAC, CMS, and state-specific standards.
With a strong focus on efficiency and process, Anna has successfully managed credentialing operations for health plans and large provider organizations. She led the development of Newport’s cloud-based CAREcvo software with the goal of achieving unparalleled efficiencies and mitigating compliance risks through robust system-based validation and oversight. She has participated in numerous surveys and audits achieving full compliance to accrediting, state, and federal standards.
Anna has extensive experience in the development and implementation of full-scope credentialing programs, including centralizing operations across multiple sites, leading enterprise-wide database migrations, developing policies and procedures and quality improvement programs, and establishing delegation activities and oversight.
She holds a BS degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California and has numerous publications in the field of cancer research.
