MEDITRACT TEAM AND CUSTOMERS CONTRIBUTE HEARTS AND FUNDS TO HELP LOCAL FAMILIES STRUGGLING TO RECOVER FROM LATE APRIL TORNADOES

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. — June 20, 2011 — Nearly six weeks after the tornadoes tore through northern Alabama, southeastern Tennessee and northwestern Georgia, the communities of continue to recover and rebuild. Volunteers, citizen groups, organizations and corporations have been donating time, money and effort to bring comfort to the victims and help restore normalcy.

Like in many of these communities, Chattanooga, TN, where MediTract, Inc. has its headquarters, was greatly impacted both with fatalities and considerable damage to homes, municipal buildings and commercial property. Fortunately, the MediTract team and their immediate families were not largely impacted during the storms, but many had friends and relatives who were not so lucky.

That's when a group of employees who were already volunteering in their neighborhoods with church and other groups decided to foster donations from their peers. "With all that was going on, we felt compelled to do something for our community," stated David Paschal, VP of Finance for MediTract, Inc.

Much to the surprise of the staff, donations began arriving from MediTract clients, other hospitals around the country who had seen the destruction in places like Tuscaloosa and wanted to help. "That was a real eye-opener for everyone, that our customers were thinking of us and were concerned about our community. It was a real inspiration," expressed Paschal.

Donations from MediTract employees, their families as well as the concerned customers were distributed to a number of local families to pay medical bills and other expenses. Both the appreciation from the families as well as the kindness showed by everyone brought the team closer and offered a real feeling of fulfillment in a time of suffering for so many.
