MediTract Expands Compliance Training, Education and Networking Initiatives

Corporate Operations and Consulting Executives Participate at HCCA’s Compliance Academy

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. — May 24, 2010 — MediTract, Inc., the leading contract management service provider exclusively serving the healthcare industry, today announced an expansion of the organization’s compliance training, education and networking initiatives. As part of this broader organizational effort, key MediTract representatives from operations, client service and training roles participated at a recent Compliance Academy event – held in Boston March 15-18, 2010 and sponsored by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA).

Consisting of four days of in-depth healthcare compliance education, the HCCA’s Compliance Academies serve the educational and networking needs of healthcare compliance professionals, including those from provider, legal, payor, medical device, pharmaceutical organizations and more.

“Participating at educational industry events such as those sponsored by the HCCA and AHLA (American Health Lawyers Association), is tremendously valuable for the product and service teams at MediTract,” said Rebekah Elkins, CHC, Senior Vice President, Operations at MediTract. “Beyond the lessons learned in product development and application architecture, participating in these events is crucial to the leadership and consulting role we are called upon to take with our healthcare customers. We are committed to sharing our knowledge in evolving compliance issues, quality strategies, risk assessment, compliance infrastructure, corporate ethics and legal responsibility, as well as legislative considerations such as Stark II and HIPAA requirements.”

While at the Compliance Academy event, Elkins successfully completed the Certified in Healthcare Compliance Examination, earning the CHC designation, which recognizes individuals who meet criteria of competence in the practice of healthcare compliance.

MediTract executives have presented at past industry conferences and seminars, as well as sessions at past HCCA events, and plan to attend future Compliance Academies, including the Chicago event to be held August 16-19, 2010. Other networking and educational initiatives by the company include the expansion of the MediTract Web site and Best Practices Network, currently under development.
