Dr. Deieso is an Operating Partner at Arsenal Capital Partners. Prior to joining Arsenal Capital Partners, Dr. Deieso has held CEO positions in a number of publicly-traded and privately-held companies in the healthcare, life science, technology, and engineering industries. Dr. Deieso has led successful transformations of a number of companies in the healthcare and life science sectors including, most recently, as CEO of PeriGen and EduNeering. In addition to his extensive career in healthcare, Dr. Deieso has led several major global engineering and construction companies and has held senior positions in federal and state regulatory agencies. Dr. Deieso received a B.S.M.E. in mechanical engineering from Manhattan College, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Rutgers University, where he served on the faculty. Dr. Deieso serves on the Board of Directors of PeriGen, Sentrx, The WIRB-Copernicus Group, Inc., and Breckenridge IS, Inc., and is a former Board of Trustee of the Kenan Institute of the University of North Carolina and the NJ Symphony Orchestra. He was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in 2010.
Mr. McLean is a Partner at Arsenal Capital Partners. Prior to joining Arsenal in 2010, Mr. McLean was a Managing Director at Courtagen Capital Group and its predecessor companies where he invested in healthcare companies. Mr. McLean was a Founding Partner of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, Inc. (and its successors, Stonington Partners and Arena Capital Partners) and has helped to raise and manage aggregate private equity funds of $2.8 billion. Mr. McLean received a BS. in Economics from University of Pennsylvania and a MBA from the Wharton School. Mr. McLean currently serves on the Board of Directors of CentriHealth, Inc., Courtagen Bioscience, RS Medical Corporation, and The WIRB-Copernicus Group, Inc., and is also the Chairman of the International Biomedical Research Alliance.
Mr. Gorbach is a Principal at Arsenal Capital Partners. Prior to joining Arsenal in 2008, Mr. Gorbach was a private equity investor at American Capital Strategies and Madison Dearborn Partners.. Mr, Gorbach started his career in the Financial Sponsor investment banking group of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Mr. Gorbach graduated with an A.B. in Economics and Government, magna cum laude, with high honors from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the board of directors of The WIRB-Copernicus Group, Inc. and FrontStream Payments, Inc.
Dr. Rothman is a Senior Advisor at Arsenal Capital Partners. Prior to joining Arsenal, Dr. Rothman was the Chief Scientist at General Electric Healthcare and a Professor at Stanford, Princeton, Yale and Columbia Universities and the Co-Founder of ARIAD Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Rothman was the Vice-Chairman, Sloan-Kettering Institute at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and held advisory roles at General Electric, Amersham PLC and Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Rothman is the recipient of the Albert Lasker Award for Biomedical Research and the Kavli Prize for Neuroscience recognizing his discovery of the basis of neurotransmitter and hormone release. He is a Member of National Academy of Sciences (USA) and Institute of Medicine. Dr. Rothman holds a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from Harvard and a B.A. in Physics from Yale College.
Dr. Muney is a Senior Advisor at Arsenal Capital Partners and is the Chief Medical Officer at Cigna. Prior to that, he was the Executive Director at The Blackstone Group and CEO and founder of Equity Healthcare. Dr. Muney served as Chief Medical Officer for Oxford Health Plans and for NYLCare and as regional medical director and director of pediatrics of Mullikin Medical Centers in California. Dr. Muney holds a B.S. and M.D. from Brown University and a M.S. in Healthcare Administration from The University of LA Verne.
